Rex looks like he's being raped in that pic.
Don't hate him because he's beautiful.

The Bruce Willis part was the best, as it had the most on clock timing of events ( doh far from perfect ). The spotlight Marv got didn't cut it, as when reading the comic the effect was way higher. You felt yourself inside an empty killers mind, while he's doing what he does best, reciting his hollow, pointless thoughts. An effect more easely achieved on screen, yet lost in the Sin City flick. Wooo... :drunk:

Isn't it the part with the car? I didn't see the movie yet, though.

I think it's the part with two people talking in a cafe. Or something. I haven't seen it yet.

I just saw it and I definately thought it was excellent.

I remember reading that Tarantino did the Del Toro / Owens conversation in the car.

Ugh, I saw it yesterday and it definately isn't that good. Actually, most of it is boring. The Marv part was good, the Dwight part was good only when Rafferty is on the screen, and Hartigan's story is kind of shit.

I did not find it boring.

Marv has the best music though.

I guess they had three different guys do the soundtracks for the three different parts of the movie?

No, I'm pretty sure Robert Rodregez (or whatever) did the sountrack to the whole movie.

No, I'm pretty sure you're wrong, because I definately have the soundtrack.

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... 4?v=glance
You'll notice the artists listed are Robert Rodriguez, John Debney and Graem Revell.

Also since I have the soundtrack I can tell you - Rodriguez seems to have done Hartigan, Revell did the Marv tracks and Debney did the rest.

There are a few tracks, the intro and outro included, which don't have a particular artist listed though.

Tarantino's addition was in fact the scene in the car between Del Toro and Owen. He wanted to shoot it in an actual vehicle, but found it impossible to get the angles right.

That scene was actually one of the best from the movie, not only because of Tarantino, but of Del Toro.

When I went and saw it today, the movie suddenly stopped near the end. I went to the lobby and told one of the dudes working there; the manager freaked out and sorted out the problem, then gave everyone who was watching that showing a voucher for a free movie.

I liked it, although I thought it was a bit silly that the cops wore riot gear even when driving their police cars.

I havent had a movie get fucked up in ages. We have a new super theatre that killed all the old ones. I remeber during 007 The World is Not Enough, the film got stuck at the end and the projector light stayed on so you could see the film burn from the heat on big screen. It was interesting.

The best part in Sin City was when the green booger guy was whipping the girl and hes like "UR A FAT COW" then the camera does a close up on her face.
