shoot the overseer

Just got an interesting idea a few minutes ago. Is it necessary to get the water chip for the vault if you don't have anyone in the vault to get it to? Can anyone drink the water if they're all dead?

Just wondering if you get a game over if you kill off the vault yourself.

Well, at least I got a mission for the weekend...
