Well it's not really a question of taste IMO, I just don't think we should be locking threads that are relatively on-topic and have some discussion/interest.

Yes, but there's still the question of taste, because people with bad taste keep making new threads, and then the moderator with the good taste needs to close them down.

Yes, but they don't need to go making tens of threads about the fact they have a shitty taste. Notice how there are not random threads about people saying they have good taste either.

Ok, just generally, there shouldn't be a lot of topic where people just write what they like. Like "Long live <music genere>".
