You ever see sheet music for Metallica's earlier songs? The notes are so close together that you can barely read them - and that's for Hetfield's stuff. It takes an enormous amount of talent to play that quickly.

Also, I'm somewhat biased in this instance because "Battery" is one of my favorite songs.

People like what they like and there's no way to talk them out of it. Metallica is one of the few bands whose entire catalog I enjoy. Well, up to <i>St. Anger</i>, anyway.
