William Shatner's latest album, "Has Been". It's really, really good. He sings songs with a real sense of humour, so all the jokes about his method-acting and singing suddenly seem like the joke's on you. References to losing his hair, and songs about everyone dying... it's really good, haha. Funny, yet touching.

Fate of Norns by Amon Amarth was the only new CD that I downloaded in 04, so I suppose that it was the best one or something.

Wait, Shatner's CD is called 'has been'? What does it have to do with Jethro Tull's 'This was'?

Everything produced by a musicians in the year of 2004 flat-out sucked. As far as I know.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

The Dears are pretty decent live too, they opened for Morrissey when I saw him in Toronto.
The drummer dropped one of his sticks but kept the beat with the one he had left, it was intense.

Best album this year was probably still Who's Next.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

As far as best album, I do not know for sure... I would say I enjoyed Franz Ferdinand the most. It's poppy but it's a retro 60's 70's 80's poppy and I found it very musically enteraining.
The Killers - Hot Fuss was good too, although not so consistently.
