i've just come back from a greenday concert, it was fantastic!!!
although it was becuase of their new cd american idiot, they only played 3 songs of that album the rest were old, wich i must say their oldies are far better then their last 2 albums.
they even let 3 guys come on stage 1 drummer, 1 bass player and 1 on the gitar during the song She, they gave the gitar to the guy because he was pretty good, all in all it was bloody marvelous

as i said the newest albums arent good, commercialism and such but dookie, nimrod, smoothed out slappy hours and the bowling album are the best

I listen to wacky prog, experimental, and hard rock, as well as a great deal of old-school jazz. I like King Crimson a lot.

, old school jazz is also very good to relax by i listen to it also quite frequently, also the last blues/jazz music (norah jones) i really do like, some of hers i dont like because of it sounds kind of country, im not too fond of that music

Um yeah I thought my taste of music sucked and made me look uncool then you said you liked Green Day and made look like a fucking badass. Green Day is overated trash that just gets plain god damned repetitive and also the vocals are fairly annoying as the dude who sings has a pretty crappy monotone voice. The instruments are a very stereotypical three chord progression that screams SUCK! Trust me when I say this listen to Frank Sinatra or Johny Mathis or maybe even some Dean Martin and while your at it listen to Elvis because they freaking pwn Green Day.

I don't like green day either though. What other concerts where there? GO TO THOSE THAT YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT lol

I just don't see all the fuss about music. How can you say a whole genre/band sucks because you mabye listened to a song on the radio? Perhaps if everyone just chilled out and listened to green day, the world would be a better place for some, if not ALL!

But Greenday do suck, though. They're part of the fake punk movement, really. Fake, because they're really commercial (yes, i know a lot of 'true' punk was pretty commercial too)

You know Megatron has a point. We all like music that is different for the most part who is to say what we listen to isn't shit. Sometimes we don't know that it's shit so others such as myself, Megatron, Blargh, Stainless and Teatime must inform you or someone else with poor music taste of the truth. Those are the bricks I guess and if they happen to hit you in the head when it comes to an olden time bricking it was your time, that is of course if you die. So let the flaming continue!
