I hate modern punk music, but Greenday used to be fine. Until they released their latest album, which threw what little style they had out the window in favor of sounding like Blink 182 and all those other whiny cunt bitches.

The problem with punk today - as opposed to that of previous decades - is that it has no anger. When punk started out, it reveled in it's ignorance and the fact that it didn't like anybody or anything. While I didn't particularly enjoy it, I have respect for something that brash and stupid. Punk now is effeminate men who whine about how unsafe the world is and how much they love their girlfriends.

I'd venture to say the closest thing to real punk that's been released in this fledgling century is the CD released by the band The Transplants.

Well I like punk rock I just don't like Green Day. I think that they are overratedly crappy and need to reinvent their sound with something called thought and skill.
