No. Rap(and other hip-hop/rnb too for that matter) is one of the most heinous things that ever happened to this already violated planet.
There are no 'knowns'. There are thing we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know. So when we do the best we can and we pull all this information together, and we then say well that's basically what we see as the situation, that is really only the known knowns and the known unknowns. And each year, we discover a few more of those unknown unknowns.
It all started when Marlon Brando did the Godfather. Blacks thought the godfather was the hip shit so they all try to be civilized but ruff/tuff at the same time. Then all the white kids see the black kids and go "WAZ UP BOI?" so they start to look like wiggers. So you have Brando trying to be itilian, blacks looking at him cause of the stereotype of itilians, then the white kids want to be like the black kids.
I detest most rap due to its sleep-like-state-inducing nature.

I used to listen to some mainstream rap back in the days when I listened to anything they played on the radio. But nah, couldn't be bothered anymore these days. Metal all the way and shit.
The travesty known as 'rap' is worse (i.e : distinctly more painful and unpleasant) than most other forms of noise, which you know as 'music', in my oh so humble (yet correct) opinion. Rejoice.
