New U2 album
What do you think? It's kind of good, not great though.

Somehow I doubt it could possibly be worse than their last album.
U2 are ludicrously overrated. Even their '80s stuff.

The lamentations and screams of the suffering of course. Actually, I have no taste at all. Completely numb. I don't even listen to music, all I hear is discordant, cacophonic noise. Most unpleasant usually, though some appears to contain the potential of being vaguely enjoyable if one is in the appropriate mood.the guardian wrote:One has to wonder what *is* your taste, Blargh.

They're frequently incoherent too ? I haven't heard, or simply can't remember hearing their music. I'll have to correct that.
I haven't heard their work(s) either, so be proud of any potential witty insults going WOOSH over my head, aye ? In time, however, things will be different.Subhuman wrote:I'd say the Twilight Singers, Yo La Tengo, maybe Ocean Colour Scene.
No, I blame the booze.Meg wrote:get it?
Not last time I checked, at least. Logic indicates no significant change in that area. Huzzah.Subhuman wrote:LOL no, because Blargh isn't gay.
I maintain the noise going by the name of U2 is more awful than many other brands.

Just about everything they made hardly makes any sense, but The Holy Bible(what a fitting title), has got to be the worst. The lyrics sound intelligent, but you can't make heads or tails out of it. Still, they have a decent sound you can like.
It's perfect for you

Yo La Tengo and Ocean Colour Scene are two critically bulletproof, extremely pretentious indie bands. I figure whatever you listen to, it's probably pretentious. The Twilight Singers I just threw in for fun.
This is how I feel about punk rock.Blearghhhh wrote:some appears to contain the potential of being vaguely enjoyable if one is in the appropriate mood.
