I don't really mind subtle product placement in movies, but it's just annoying when they overdo it. Or something.

Yes, Ocean's Twelve is pretty weak. It's got a bunch of good actors, but the film lacks direction. They just putter around Europe exchaning dreadfully witty dialog and the whole central plot thing is magically resolved at the end. The whole movie seems to have been an excuse for the cast to take a vacation in Europe.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

I enjoyed the first one, and I wasn't expecting to (I got it for cheap on DVD).

Yeah I really liked the first one, except for Julia Roberts and George Clooney(when he was with Julia Roberts).
I guess sequels always have to suck.
Talking about sequels, what did you guys think of Bourne Supremacy?

Whatshername, the German ! Died. That made it less terrible, I think. Only slightly.

The Bourne Identity was great I felt Supremacy sucked. I had the seat nearest the screen on the cinema so that could have influenced my decision.
The car scene with all the shaky filming sucked.
Do these glasses and my two chins make me look sexy?

I like the car scene. It was much better than the fucking Matrix Reloaded car scece which everyone kept talking about for 3 years.

Bourne Identity was alright, Bourne Supremacy looks boring.

You probably won't like the second if you thought the first one was only alright.

Hence the reason I haven't seen it. PG-13 action movies don't do much for me.

Eh, the movie is not about the blood and the word "fuck".

That's what all action movies are about, doofus.
Seriously, I didn't like the original because it was boring. And the plot was too muddled. And the dialogue kinda blew.

Life Aquatic made up for all the crappy movies made during the last century and about half of the crappy movies made during this one.

What a predictably pretentious choice, Franz. Wes Anderson is a bigger hack than Tarantino.

I had a little movie marathon:
13th Warrior, The Punisher and Hellboy.
All were pretty good, nothing exceptional in any of them.
I liked the settings in 13W and Hellboy, vikings and demons are always cool.
The Punisher earns some extra points from anti-PC attitude and
the fact that it didn't fall into the "romance towards the latter half of the movie" pit of d00m.

13th Warrior was pretty good, but the other two were incredinly fucking shitty, especially Hell boy.
