A unique opportunity (again)
Basically, we're looking to add one, maybe two, people to our news team. At the moment there is myself, KoC and MMRW (who's been busy the past few weeks, not least with helping design our new site). What we need is someone else to join us.
You need to have an interest in this sort of gaming, obviously... and ideally, not just fallout. We cover other games as well with the PA theme, and also doing some movies now as well. We're also looking into assigning 'areas' to news posters, so they concentrate particularly on posting news on that particular area (though this hasn't been thought out properly or implemented yet).
Anyway - apart from an interest in the subject, you'd also need to be able to be around, and I know this is true for a lot of people, given the daily posts from people It's really a question of having some news sites that you check at least once a day, hopefully more, and picking up on something that's relevant to us. You get a nice custom rank for the effort, as well.
Anyway, either say in this thread, or PM me, or something...

I'll try it, but I can't guarantee I'll find anything readable. Also, I am very lazy and will probably post a lot of news filled with profane editorial comments. Furthermore, due to a chemical imbalance, I have lost my ability to type in clear and connected sentences.
So please consider me.
So please consider me.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

I can start on the weekend... I'll try to browse for some interesting chit. The more obscure, the better. I don't promise or even pledge to find anything interesting, though.

So... who's serious, and who's... not? CloudNineGT has offered to help, especially with movie stuff, as some of you have noticed his new rank... so that's good... but there's room for another person or maybe two more people if you're able to help.

Thanks, but I loathed the Journalism course I took in college. I'd just end up abusing whatever privileges came with the position, not bothering to find any nifty, interesting pieces of news ; propagating insidious slander, illicit trading in denim axes, writing bollocks (probably the only thing on this list I subscribe to as of now), stealing spleens, earning rightly deserved ire from moral crusaders for my complete ethical bankruptcy and so on. The usual journalistic pit traps.
I don't want that, you probably don't want that either. Huzzah.
