Only truly American beer I go out of my way for is Yuengling. That being said, it's pleasant but not groundbreaking.

How did I know you'd say that Retlaw? It's good stuff, unpretentious. I'd go Sam Adams or Sierra Nevada, although they have kind of outgrown micro-brew status.

Locally I go Tenpenny Ale.

I've grown quite fond of Lumberyard Red. It's brewed locally in Flagstaff, and it's one of the only beers I drink when I don't have access to hard liquor.

Ska brewing company have some decent ales. Their decadent imperial ipa is rather nice.

And much better because of it. Stay nuclear, my friends.

I giggled. Are we talking US of A or PR of A?
Hmm, don't fancy me chances of finding any 'sides the Yuengling, but noted.
I usually go for belgian, so they all look good to me, far as I can tell.

So my wife's friend moved overseas and left us all kinds of shit. She does this all the time. My first reaction is WTF, who needs this tag-sale shit.
Then I found the box of hooch - Hennessy, Belvedere, wine, sake, plum wine all kinds of shit I would never buy. Drinking from a richer man's liquor cabinet feels so uplifting.
Watched the whole Stanley Cup last week buffet style going from liquor to liquor.

Oh BTW, I got some golf clubs too.

I went to so many Whalers/Nordiques games as a kid I can probably sing Oh Canada in French. Fuck Gary Bettman. Bring back the Whale and Les Norqidues! Got no business playing hockey in AZ, Texas and FLA.

Kiss of death for the Nordiques was when Lindross refused to play for them after being drafted.

Speaking of hockey, what the fuck was up with the insane riots that went down in Canada? Was that really over just the Stanley Cup?

What else would Canadians riot over?

What about Europe and their soccer teams? I thought those could put cities in states of emergency over there.

Well here the opposing side often causes mayhem or the mayhem starts at the Stadium. But man can it get crazy. Especially in Poland.

People get their necks snapped in Poland.

I remember in 2001 I think when Japan beat Russia in some Eastern Hemisphere Football league. Japan defeats Ivan and then the shit hits the fan St. Petersburg is ransacked and rioting goes on through the night and into the next day. The Jap team got attacked after leaving the stadium, don't know why I remember this sporting riot but in the news coverage it looked fucking nuts as if Germany was invading again thats how terrible those ruskies acted over that game.
