Mapper 2 area limits

Post by 1st Lt Reiser »

I have another question in regards to Mapper 2 by Team X.

When i look at the maps from the game i noticed they dont take up anywhere near what the mapper shows in space and area. So im wondering What are the map area limits and how do i see them/expand them?

Thx again for your help and Thx to Team X for making this editor :)

That's because the limit is where the center of the screen is... That is, you can't move the center of the screen outdside the specified limit...

If you mean the area visible within the game, then that is determined by the scroll blockers (under "misc"). IIRC, they block the scrolling based on the location at the center of the screen. The show/hide blockers (looks like a scroll) button will display/hide them in the mapper- red are movement blockers and the white with a "S" in them are scroll blockers.

i take it scroll blockers mean the following

Say this ")+(" is the scroll blocker i can only scroll asfar as that it doesn't go past the centre of my screen?

With movement blockers i asume that they block movement so you cant move say on a Wreaked diesel truck etc....

Is their any real way to increase the size of the map? By say adding buildings further out in the editor?

Well you need to remove the scroll blockers (and add some new ones to make a new limit.
