Is there one in existence worth using? Or should I make a new program?

I can't think of any actual FO script editors that are out there (Well, I suppose FODE might count, but I would never use it and it isn't in development any more anyhow.) Personally, I don't see the need for one- I just use notepad (or similiar) for my script editing.

Okay. I guess that I'll have to do it the hard way again...

What the heck is a "Script editor". The compiler/decompiler works wonders and having scripts in text format beats any old weird graphical interface countless amount of times.

At best I would suggest taking some funky text editor that supports syntax highlighting and make a "syntax file" to highlight the proper strings... You could probably even base it on a pascal/delphi syntax file since the language is so close.
