T-A is down too, so maybe they're on the same host. Calis is generally very good about giving warning of host changes, etc, so I'm not sure how likely it is that it is a planned host move.

Maybe it's just some Gamesquad problem.

1. We will be changing our host for RPG Codex as soon as GSN gets our stuff back up, we'll be with you guys on the Gate network.

2. GSN has fucked up for the last time. I thought that they had maybe worked out their problems from the old V13 days, but that is obviously not true. I only hope that there hasn't been any data loss.

I successfully visited RPG Codex the day SP announced it. However, when I try to go to RPG Codex today, I get a warning about an unsafe certificate from ensim.rackshack.net. I tell it not to accept the certificate and so I cannot visit the site.

That certificate wasn't there earlier today. I wonder why someone has put it there? Maybe the hosts are going through some changes.

They've got the site back up, of course, that is without the MySQL database working.
And it looks like we've lost a week or more worth of data.

Actually, scratch that, we've lost no data, just the site files.

http://www.rpgcodex.com/phpBB/ is the only thing that works at the moment.

The reason you see that weird certificate thing is because when you setup a site through that "hosting software" (I forgot it's name...), it always brings the "user" (ie person who browses the site) to the admin page until it's properly setup (by the admin(s) of the site). And by default the program provides an non-certified certificate (it' up to the host to update it with a valid one which most hosts don't bother with because of the costs it entails).

Long story short, all that needs to be done is for the host to fix it's problems, which has already done.

Good work, there.
I guess time heals all wounds(don't quote me on that).
