DAC modding community

So pretty much since time immemorial I've thought of this forum as a weird enclave of autism and retardation existing within the kingdom of DAC (and that's saying something in itself I guess), separate yet part of it like a benign tumor or something, and after all these years, randomly opening threads, I still stand by my assessment. Which made me wonder: did the DAC modders ever produce anything worthwhile, or were they all just bizarre pet projects that nobody cared about even if they materialized? I don't even mean this in an asshole sort of way, it's just, have you read any of this stuff here?

I really wished Retlaw would have finished that submod he was making for the TTW mod where it was connecting loose ends, lorewise, and put in funny dialog in Fallout 3. The stuff he had showed promise, like NCR Ranger super mutants and stuff.
