Pretty sexcellent game. You can turn the easy aim off, which saves it. Coming across a Christian zealot dying of illness in the scrub brush on the side of a horse path who refuses to seek medicine or be carried into town because of her overweening belief that God will save her and then lassoing her from horseback, dragging her a mile or so, hopping off, hogtying her, throwing her over the back of your horse and hauling her ass back into town at full gallop is a nice touch. Oh, there are guns too, but I'm still having too much fun with the lasso to delve into that shit. WALLOFTEXT.

How do you use the Lasso?

Ive been going at it with my very modern looking hand gun.
Do these glasses and my two chins make me look sexy?

I make a rule of hogtying as many people as possible. Thanks for the heads up about the auto aim option. That bit was ruining my gunfights.

Also you have to complete a few missions with Bonnie MacFarlane before you get the lasso. The lasso is super fun. People actually get pretty pissed when you aim the lasso at them. I dont know what the big deal is, they're prolly just homophobes.

I just finished the main quest last night. Excellent game for what it's worth. Plenty to do afterward, both on and offline. My only beef is that the controls can be a bit clunky.

Give this 4-8 months, I'd like to see if it can be modded on PC, same way I'm interested in modding Saints Row 2 by adding in Red Faction: Guerilla weapons/effects. It'd be a curious aberration to see GTA IV weapons in RDR

If they make bigass full sized DLCs like they did for GTA4, I'll be a happy chappy.

At first when I played this game I was a bit disappointed because it seemed pretty boring and not much to do. But I guess once you start getting past the intro shit missions it picks up and I'm starting to like it. Still seems a bit too much like GTA but whatever. I haven't tried the multiplayer yet but I guess lots of people are playing it, I thought it was just a tacked on thing?

I can't wait. I'm gonna get it right away, if I can actually get some money. I spent all my saved up cash on the Halo Reach Legendary Edition, it was all worth it.

Kid's probably not even out of highschool yet. Don't blame him for his taste in games, he doesn't know any better.

Slow start, overall, solid game. Best voice acting ever-ish, maybe tied with Vampires: The Masquerade. Some good twists and turns.

3 days of fairly constant playing, I'm about 2 missions out from beating it. I've loved this game, and I think for what was available, they've done justice to the natural beauty of the Sonoran desert and then some.

I see Nico and Killzig online, but time zone differences generally dictate that they're winding down just as I'm starting up.

Haven't tried multiplayer yet but I will keep you posted once I do
