Well, he is very old already, has his younger brother. But i dnt see a super duper pro-usa democratic revolution in Cuba. While Castro is gone, there is still an strong leadership in the country, and i can see them using the Chinese model to keep the country in a this in the middle of capitalism and comunism.

Fidel is 80, Raul is 75, for a "younger" brother he's still likely to die very soon. The guy could go take a shit and pull an Elvis. Plus I guess the people hate Raul even more, they see him as a joke.

It'll be real fun to see how this all unfolds though.

castro is a bland and boring dictator. no wars on tv. no nothing. just the ordinary torture of prisoners yada. if you have total power you should fucking use it. shoot missiles over other countries and laugh without pants on national tv at the feeble diplomatic efforts that the civilized community try to pull. make every 1st day ak47-day. every one would be forced by law to shoot automatic fire into the air for atleast one hour. panzer sports. you are already a tyrant. why not act like one.

A monopoly of political power in my opinion is worse than allowing a few ineffectual dictators establish and maintain balance in typically volatile and potentially dangerous parts of the world. I'm referring less to cuba and more to south america, the middle east, and asia.

The shithole that is now Iraq is a good example of a vacuum of strong political influence, and everything is up for grabs, and the hapless everyday individuals like myself and possibly you guys, are the ones now paying for it.

I could make some insulting comments about where the greed and foolishness of certain groups gets them but I don't really think I need to.

That'll open up a whole other can of worms so I'll leave it there.
