Just because he was a general doesn't mean Clark was a good general. The other generals he was working with in Bosnia HATED him and tried to have him taken out of that theatre, but him and Clinton refused. I'll have to go dig up some stories on his suckitude, although there aren't many around since it he hasn't mattered in a while.
The point is that just because you're a general doesn't mean you're totally awesome. Career military men who do it just for the career, not out of a real sense of service are the worst.
And I can't really apologize for Pat Buchanan. I don't think he went into Canada and pissed anyone off with his shitty singing.
Peter Jennings is a asshat liberally biased news anchor for ABC News. He's originally from Toronto and only recently became a U.S. citizen, just before his 65th birthday. 65 is when Social Security kicks in, by the way.
I still don't know how Bush was able to lose us jobs though. Does he have a person go around and just close up factories and have them move to other countries or something?

George Bush lowered taxes so the Jews could kill Michael Moore.

Yup, outsourcing jobs to India since it is cheaper over there instead of here. More specialized jobs should be taking over in the US to make up for the loss of jobs of manufacturing, but it is barely getting along.
Isn't Pat Buchanan the guy that called Canada "Soviet Canuckistan"?
People on livejournal are running around scared. It is starting to get hilarious, even for a left-leaning Canuck like myself. It is almost like... chickens running around. Without their heads. Just running around.

How is Bush outsourcing jobs to India? Is he telling the companies to do so? Did he call up Wal-Mart and tell them to outsource their customer service phones to India or some shit? Last time I fucking checked Bush doesn't own any of these companies that are sending jobs overseas.Sovy Kurosei wrote:Yup, outsourcing jobs to India since it is cheaper over there instead of here. Furthermore, the reason for them being sent there is because it's cheaper for them to do the work rather than us because there are so many restrictions here. So if anyone is responsible for outsourcing it's the liberals, and unions especially.

airsoft guy is absolutely right. And if Kerry had won the election does anybody truly believe things would change? His own wife's companies rely heavily on outsourcing.
Another major problem is how we deal with illegal immigrants. They're taking a huge bite out of our ass and everybody thinks getting rid of them is the solution. The smart thing to do would be making them citizens, forcing employers to pay minimum wage. Bush and Kerry are too scared to tackle that issue because the concept goes right over the heads of stupid fuck Americans which dominate this country.

Anyone remember the liberals calling the Southern states "rednecks" when the South used to vote for their side?SDMVersion3 wrote:It wouldn't have been a landslide. Unfortunatly, the chances of a black president are still about zero, and since Bush secured about 60 electoral votes from the Redneck south and is projected to lead with 40 odd electoral votes, his base would keep it very, very competitive.
Not to mention that Kerry and his wife, no matter how often they spoke out about Wal-Mart, own $20,000,000 worth of shares in the company.Mad Max RW wrote:airsoft guy is absolutely right. I've always been afraid of anywhere so overrun with religious bigotry that the KKK not only began, but thrived in the South for decades. A recent decline only really serves to show that radical conservatism is less radical and more mainstream. Although a conservative nation in general, it's no more true then amongst the insane southern evangelicals, of which there are millions.
Don't get me wrong, the entire south is not insane. Just most of it.

Consider this chart. Hotlink protected, but you guys should know how to get around that.

Recognize some of those in the bottom ten? Missisipi, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Alabama, Texas? It can't be a coincidence that states commonly linked to their Dixieland ideals and stereotypes (include in that list South Carolina) happen to test so low in aptitude tests.
In short, I am not just striking out because I'm bitter. Even when the South went for Clinton, I felt the same way. What other people say is their business but it's always been my opinion that the southern states have always been some of the most insane parts of your country.
And you're right about Kerry. He was a douchebag and most of us liberals didn't like him; we just all shared a fanatical hatred for Bush and his platform of intollerance. It's time for us to move on from the incredible failure of the 2004 election and start planning for Obama/Dean 08.
