I reckon I'm gonna go with SHTUP and Rebirth, texture updates the two of them. I'll leave secmod for a future run. BTW Frater, you might be interested in this . (...)It's a pity that so many developers still pump out the same old tired formulaic cookie-cutter FPS games when Spector was pushing the ...

Probably yes - but Dosbox takes a lot more fucking around with to get stuff working usually (in my experience). Scummvm is much easier, you install it, choose game folder et voila mouse, sound and everything works. Just mentioned it since my experiences with the 2 were pretty much the opposite of y...

If you're a big fan of the originals, I'd recommend it. A fan of the first, aye. Not that big a fan though, besides my pirate phase got kicked outta me (by Geena Davis). I don't think it's coming back either. Anyways, gracias for the input. Don't know about 2 but I'm definitely getting the first so...

I've been playing a little bit of Monkey Island 2 and despite not really having got anywhere in the game thus far, I can really appreciate the writing. It is well thought out, interesting and above all genuinely funny. They don't make games like this any more these days. Word. Btw how's the remake?...

Susan, have you tried Two Worlds II ? If yes, then how would you compare these two? I fired it up and played for about an hour or so. I'm not going to lie, it looks and feels like a decent game (leaving aside the horrendous consoley inventory system) but it just didn't captivate me. Don't let that ...

achokkus suggested me to play some GTA 4. So I'll play it. Follow up with either the DLC or Red Dead Redemption I don't have a console. I played RDR with a mate in germany. It was ok. Unless it comes out on PC I won't be able to play it. I tried GTA 4 on the PC and the port is so horrendous that I ...

Yeah, I play with the same nick I use here. I've been trying different types of tanks myself as well. Playing solely as USSR, I've gotten so far: - the best (tier 4) Soviet light tank, A-20 - tier 6 medium tank, M-34-85 - tier 4 SPG (artillery), SU-5 - and I'm about to get my first heavy tank on ti...

The writing? I'll be honest, I haven't given the game more than a couple of hours of a chance (I did buy it though) but at least within the first town, I didn't really see a big difference in dialogue between NV and Oblivion. Never played Oblivion, but whoever wrote Fallout 3 can't craft a conversa...

Yes, somewhat. I still don't think that NV is a good game but that is mainly due to the appalling engine. The engine is shit, but I can look past it in the case of NV because they did the best they could with it and because they didn't have the luxury of choosing what they got to work with. Convers...

How much of New Vegas' success was from the fact it was a superior product, and how much of it was from Bethtards who bought the sequel hoping it would offer the shame shallowness as Fallout 3? From what I've seen, a lot of Fallout 3 fans dislike New Vegas, and I don't think Bethesda has any reason...

Erika is probably my all time favorite. Too bad the Germans weren't that good with their marches & propaganda songs otherwise. Somehow I can't relate to them, nor do I find the melodies interesting. Soviets, on the other hand... NaÅ¡a gvardija Belaja Armija, čёrnyj Baron ... ...
