What's the point of tritium sights if you already have a flashlight on a rail? D; Because flashlights run on batteries, and batteries run out of juice, leaving you in the clutches of the demons of darkness...usually at the most inconvenient time imaginable. This even if you did sacrifice three chic...

Fucking laptops... I used to belong to that camp, but now that I'm on the move so much -- and even at "home", i.e. the barracks, I don't have much room -- I'm getting pretty hip to them. Besides, my laptop completely kicks my old desk-top's ass. Three times as fast, 8 times the storage, 4...

So what you are saying is that we shouldn’t get our hopes up, and we sha’nt be disappointed? Sounds good to me. If we're wrong we'll simply be delightfully surprised. Yeah, I'm voting for enlightened pessimism, m'self... Oh BTW, I can't believe some of you think th...

im hardcore but i dont smoke itll kill you man. Well, I didn't say smoking made you hardcore. What I was talking about was "hardcore smokers". There's a difference, one that your 3rd grade North Carolina education apparently pick up... i got a zippo from a bar last week... That's nice. .....

I'll tell you the real reason I don't want dual-wielded weapons in FO3: it would make FO3 like any other cheap-ass, dime-a-dozen, action game with all the originality of a clone. Forget the physics, the ballistics, the ergonomics of doing it in the real world because it's really not an issue. After ...

That would be when you find out who the hardcore smokers are.

I'm numbered among those.

Although I'm not above smoking in my non-smoking hotel room these days...

This man, who supposedly has United States Army training... Ah, I missed that when I read it originally. Makes a bit more sense now. (Though I still don't find it surprising, especially if he's a pogue...) hmmm, can you still get a "grease gun" if you're a tanker? Not in a Regular Army un...

So how do "Army guys" figure into any of this? Did I miss something? If your buddies are soldiers you're probably over-estimating the amount of training they get, especially if they're not Combat Arms. The Army isn't all that hot on pistols, anyway. For instance, the average infantryman ne...

Actually, I've carried a revolver on my belly a few times, and it was very comfortable....until I had to take a seat, that is. 2" blued barrel poking my nuts is quite alarming D: I've carried w/o holster quite a few times, but my solution is to tuck it in the side of my pants, exactly where my...

But the "real" religions would be alot of story and possibilities for lost of quests... Just because you can't come out and say that X real-world religion went in Y direction and became Z game religion there's enough room to maneuver as long as the names are changed. I'm sure we can think...

This topic is about inanimate object conspiracies. Here was me thinking that animism was a mark of primitive societies... Alternatively, this topic is about retarded accidents you had. You may or may not talk about what danger your balls were at, at the time. Okay, that's more like it. I had a reta...

The only good thing which ever came from Eurovision: Dschingis Khan - Moskau! I don't think Eurovision has been around that long. Dschingis Khan has been around since at least the early '80s. I can remember them on German TV at least that early...maybe even the late '70s. (I'm really start...

I was kinda being a smartass, because Kubrick likes to put a latrine suicide and/or an untoward bathroom rape scene in all of his movies... I was going to say, "Perhaps I don't know my Kubrick as well I thought," but then I thought how there's nothing of the sort in A Clockwork Orange ......

I want to get a TOW missile for my truck. Or a .50. You should check into the limitations of some of these weapons before you go pining for them. TOW II is good to 3,750m compared to 3,000m for earlier versions. Impressive, right? Not when you factor in that you have to keep your sights on the targ...
