Morrowind was a decent RPG and became somewhat known for conscious gamers. However, it never achieved a near mythical status in the RPG scene as Fallout did. This is mainly because the gameworld in TES games is a generic, medieval fantasy setting just like in 90% of all RPGs. TES lore? That's still...

Ya, I saw this on another forum, and I was mulling it over with some of the guys and we pretty much came to these conclusions: First, this guy has a history of interesting inventions. I would take anything he says with a grain (or mountain) of salt. He claimed he had developed something called the &...

Will do. I need to re-review the existing work and think some things over before I get posting.

Hey, do y'all need any help with this thing? I'm an experienced D20 Apocalypse player, have an interest in the SPECIAL system. I'm an okay writer, and my primary interest is in weaponry, pistols, rifles, rockets, machine guns, you name it.

It's true that it's unfitting to the theme, and to be honest, I found little use for those weapons beyond the FN FAL as a decent early/mid-game weapon. I have to ask though, how will this company handle it? What I mean is, look at the Weapons Locker, if you have it. Often, the differences between we...

Or, the moral of the story could be that you're being an ass about it. Either way, we both look like morons.

No, Morrowind and Oblivion are two different animals. But you know, I think we're slightly off topic.

... You know, how about we stop at the fact that pointless caves in general suck. Jeez, I almost stopped playing Fallout 2 after seeing the Temple of Trials. At any rate, stupid newbie mistake, 1. Not realizing that burst fire weapons have a 90% chance of killing both your enemy, and that damn triba...

Yes, I like Fallout. Yes, I like Fallout 2. Even Brotherhood of Steel had its merits. I enjoyed Morrowind, and I play Oblivion. They are four separate games, so stop comparing them! Math much? Those are 5 seperate games. I was reffering to Fallout 1&2 as sort of the same. Sort of. Yes, I've pla...

Yes, but similar in style doesn't mean "Oh my god, Oblivion with guns!" They say that they're not doing a top down isometric. Okay, that still leaves movable camera systems like we saw in Neverwinter Nights 2. It doesn't necessarily mean that we'll be seeing a First Person system coming ou...

Well, all I care is that it is in Fallout 2, which I generally consider to the pretty much canon. As well, there's the M60, the G11, the Desert Eagle, the Mauser, the CAWS, and the P90. All real weapons in Fallout 2.

EDIT: Forgot the M3A1.

EDIT2: Forgot the Jackhammer.

I wouldn't agree with that. I find FOT to be an interesting and quite frankly enjoyable game. Look, it's a bloody Tactical FPS. It has almost no RPG elements to it, as such, immerse dialog like in F1&2 would be completely wasted. Never mind that FOT is geared to a different audience. THe RTT (Re...

*Preventative snip* I can't deny this, but it doesn't mean we as players cannot have any demands on what we'd like Fallout 3 to be. We also have the right to accuse a game company for making a bad game or being too market-centric. It's the same as an artist or a movie studio compromises its piece o...

As a D20 Apocalypse player, I'll buy it, but I have to wonder how well it will sell with WoTC having their own D20 Apocalypse already out, not to mention the legal questions surrounding whether they have IP rights. Heck, I could put together a decent D20 Fallout system if I wanted to. SPECIAL isn't ...

See, I like FOT, but FOT is it's own game by far. Yes, it's part of the Fallout Universe, yes, I consider the stuff in FOT to be cannon (Where it conflicts completely with the Fallout 1&2 story I choose F1&2 as real), but no, I don't compare it to Fallout 1&2. Why? They're completely dif...

And now for your token lurker. Look, I understand what Bethsoft is doing, even though the Fallout Community doesn't like it. When a gaming company steps outside of what they specialize in you get a buggy piece of crap like Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, made by, guess who... Troika. Same folks ...
