Zone heights don't directly correspond with levels which is something I've always found strange. But you start be drawing the zone at the floor level. So if your floor is at level 0 then set the level to 0 when starting the zone. Set the boundaries of the zone and then set its height to 2 or 3. Tha...

I didn't actually keep the trigger as I found another way of doing what I wanted, but the set up if I remember correctly was condition player has more than 15 alive at zone (with in location box ticked) action deactivate player this was to get rid of all the brahmin after they had stampeded, and I e...

Thanks for the interest guys, unfortunately as the map is design for TB any sort of trigger that initiates combat kind of spoils the effect of having 40 odd Brahmin take flight. Eventually I decided to go with the player can see command, and forced speech to have the player start shouting his head o...

Any Ideas would be gratefully welcome

Hi I'm trying to set it up so that the player can cause a herd of brahmin to stampede as a diversionary tactic. I've got the actions all sorted for the trigger but I can't think of what conditions to use, to actually get the herd to stampede. Anybody got any suggestions?

Thanks

It would be good to see some mid-tech-level missions. (More than simply HTH weapons, but not the high-end projectile and energy weapons, either.) That's basically my favorite type. Although I always looked forward to the end of a game of FO/FO2, I really like the mid-levels the best. Cheers, OTB Th...

One thing I did that I thought was neat w/starting inventory items was to convert the HK MP5 that the PC invariably starts w/to a 9mm SMG (Uzi Mk XXVII), which is the lowest powered SMG in my campaign. In all respects it's just like the other 9mm SMGs, except that the name and desc are changed so t...

What's the problems? Oh just good old fashioned writers block, just can't seem to come up with any dialogue or blurb for my character background. :( I think I've hogged this thread enough, so I've started a new one in the mapping forum. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Edit 19/12/02 Ju...

Nope I just hope that I don't run it to it anytime soon. :D

I was hoping that I would have it ready by this weekend but I've run into a brick wall and now I hope to have it ready before next year, assuming I can solve my problems. :(

Hi there On a similar vein, has anyone thought about using some of the graphics from Arcanum? I don't know if the tiles would be easily converted but some of the inventory graphics, such as 'S_rusted_generic_pistol_0_[None]_0' would surely make good gui sprites. Especially if someone was making a lo...

 Aw shucks you say the nicest things  I did think about making the bots deactivate once dead when I was planning the map but disappearing dead guys are one feature of computer games I really dislike (I love to see a mound of my dead enemies at my feet, make's me feel I've accomplished so...

Damn I thought I had those traffic jams fixed! The trouble is once the robots are within visual range they make straight for Marc and can cause quite a pile up, depending where you've placed him. Hmm perhaps if I delay changing the behemoths team until the last possible moment they'll follow the way...

Hi I played as a morally challenged magic user once, but when I tried holding up the bank in shrouded hills I got laughed at by the bank teller, 'what you going to do wave your sword at me' or something to that effect. Nothing more likely to deflate a guy's ego and make him go straight, than a dose ...

Thanks for taking the time to download and play it and for taking the trouble to post a review. It's actually called Go tell it to the Spartans, note to self make title clearer for next map, but I guess that's not really important. You don't mention what difficulty level you were playing on, I've pl...

Erk! Hope I haven't got everyone's hope's up, cause it's only a very simple map and I only spent 2.5 days putting it together (and it shows) and then 2.5 weeks playtesting it.

Well I hope that you enjoy it anyway.

Cheers
