Uhm... I've been inactive for at least as long while having mod powers, what's your point? The forum's mostly dead anyway.

She does what she's supposed to.

Where can you see activity anyway? You mean because she didn't post? Ever heard of a lurker? Ever checked the post count? :D

Tingel's fairly active. Most of the time there's very little to do, but she moderates actively and gives input on most things, at least in the management.

Why and for what purpose(s) are alterations to the forum layout being considered ? Ask toxic. Leave it as is. Just cause you can change something doesn't mean you should. Let me ask this - how would totally changing the layout improve the site? Totally changing...? I think you're being overdramatic...

If you must merge gaming with something, merge it with Sex, Jet & rock 'n' roll and leave GD intact. Or do you want to have threads about "olol Swayze is dead" in the same forum as "Have you plyaed the new WoW expansion"? Interesting point, though I don't agree with it. As f...

General gaming is no more major than say, movie discussions, not that I've noticed at least. General PA which is the central theme(and we will encourage more of that, hopefully) will have its own subfora, I figured any PA gaming will be there or if relevant to the current games, in their respective ...

It's even stated in the news post.

Impressive, especially the paint job. Someone should have him make guns from Fallout instead, though. The Wattz 2000 Laser Rifle(Prefferably the upgraded version from Fo2) or standard P94 Plasma Rifle, would be my favourites. edit: Most(if not all) know them, but here are the ones I mean... http://i...

We're destroying DAC.

And turning it into a Fo3/BoS fan site instead. ... Seriously though, we(The Management(TM)) just knocked our skulls together and decided to trim the forum a bit, combine some of the sub-fora. Site Features: As they are General Forums: General Discussion (Containing gd, media(SJRNR), gaming) Fan art...

I am very much one for as little government control as possible, at least in this country, as I've seen what happens when it does intervene. For other countries, especially those in europe, you seem to have it under control. I just can't see a similar system working currently in the US with the gen...

What about posts designed to destroy entire forums? And similarly, those wordfilter edits that made every word/letter in a post turn into an enormous phrase, as we saw during DU/RPG Codex attacks? There has to be some kind of reprimanding for sabotaging the site should it happen again I'll just sur...

Sounds like where ever he accesses the site from has site-blocked DAC.

It's possible, especially if the site header has had some key-words that fall under a filter, and gotten auto-listed.

Tell him to proxy it if he can't get access. If he doesn't know how, ask if he can find google.

If everyone was able to think for themselves, plan ahead and avoid pitfalls, then those positive examples freedom would be negative, as long as the freedom of choice is forced upon you(at the expense of something else, such as high taxes and forced education). People would be stifled, feel choiceles...

I wonder what exactly it takes for you to make a "Game of the year" edition? Like, does just one magazine have to vote your game for game of the year or is there like a quota or something? Probably what you said, any magazine willing to nominate or declare your game as GOTY is enough. I'v...

I think the ice-cream machine is a ridiculous example because it's obvious(as previously stated) that people want more for nothing, so they'll try to circumvent the machine. As to the idea of machines and technology adapting to our moods, I think it's a creative direction that might end up with some...

No I don't mean a borg collective, but I would like to see some standards, such as everyone having access to a PDA with all vital functions on it. On the specific topic of religion there are conflicts though. I can't see any room for any sort of collective for religions that exclude non-believers an...

Overall, I agree. There's no big reason to off yourself, there's plenty to live for, even if you take a long look at how humanity is shaping itself. If you need to be able to do something about it, then work for it, do your best. People can't afford to be smart enough to see our world as a whole and...

I can't take it seriously. In context he has a somewhat interesting point, when he's looking at humanity as a whole, where the small pleasures are irrelevant and where we as a united race aren't achieving enough compared to... a fictional race or rather the hopes, dreams and imaginations of our best...

To this day I've never had a friend regret playing Fallout, despite its age.

It's a proper roleplaying game, a perfect example thereof even.
