There was a description somewhere in Fallout which said that the DeathClaw evolved from a type of lizard. Not raccoons. Deathclaws are not the result of FEV experiments, like radscorpians and molerats they're radiation evolved. Deathclaws could not have been Raccoons. for one thing animals do not ch...

arroyo/klamath could split apart due to social predjudices. the tribals and their primitive culture clashes with the semi-civilized people of klamath ending in less development and more hostility. This allows there to be some fun missions from the start of tribals vs civilized etc. problem 2 is easi...

Sarcasm it was. The colour of your eyes does not dictate your personality or anything else about you as far as I am concerned. Unless there is a biological reason why a specific pigment of eye colour induces certain effects upon a person then its so much speculation. Unless of course those attirubut...

Animals will persue too. following scent. GG I am just totally against talking deathclaws. I think Horrigan is a meticulous person and would wipe out all remnants of the DC. Also when V13 was attacked surely all the DC would return to V13 in order to defend the eggs and mother etc. Nomads are an int...

DC should not be able to talk. I dont like the idea of talking animals. The contraversy about talking DC is that really it should not have happend. by having them all dead the issues is closed. There were not lots of talking DC. The DC in v13 were the result of Enclave experiments and were very limi...

there's the decontamination proceedures which were probably gone through to eliminate the majority of radiation. the overseer's premise for not letting you back into the vault is because you are tainted by the wastes in other ways such as personality etc. they screwed with people's heads because the...

well i take it as given that the DC are killed. I think it wraps the whole contraversial subject of talking DC up nicely. the DC in fot are ignored completely. in fact the whole event of fot is ignored because it was so badly put together. the dc were one of the prime examples of the microforte peop...

GG, Deathclaws are animals with base intelligence. they can not talk. you didnt save any deathclaws in fallout 1 or 2. in fallout 1 you kill a mother and any other DC you meet. in fallout 2 the talking DC, an experiment of the enclave, are killed by the enclave when they raid V13. Fallout 3 is going...

perhaps the PC in fo3 could get involved in a Raider war or something similar to the Den quest and the reward is armour of the winning side. the quest should have both up and down sides though. if you choose to take it you are labled in that town as a gang member and therefor not liked by the law ab...

I think Deathclaws should be exceptionally rare. they should be incredibly hard to kill with high agility and tough skin. but i agree that they should not be the only big threat in the wastes of fo3. Bears are an interesting idea. raiders (while not critters essentially) should be ever present. ever...

lets not accessorize. armour shouldnt affect your statistics unless there is a valid reason for this. no charisma enhancing items. lets not go too far down the magic armour or diablo rout. how about gangster suit and fedora hat? perhaps a set of armour which is tailored to a raider group? say leathe...

Deathclaws really should be kept to the fallout 1 way of things. they're big, bad, and tough to kill. they should be rarer than they were in fallout 2 and they should NOT have hair. nor should they damn well talk. in fallout 2 there was some justification with the whole Enclave FEV experiment but th...

fallout tactics had potential. it was just poorly presented and implemented. I know I enjoyed the demo plenty when there was all that potential unseen. given the right budget and time frame with proper research and made by someone who knows the fallout universe, fot could have been good. so either, ...

okay smartass. firstly that was irony not sarcasm. actually he keeps his stuff in his inventroy, which is why to get at it you need to USE your inventory. his inventory is not explained in either fallouts but would logically be a backpack of some sort. his weapon slots would be weapons slung over th...

A few additional armours would be okay say some leather varients etc but really fo has enough armour. I'm still all in favour of the multi-piece armour idea. different gloves, helmets, torso, boots etc offering protection from aimed shots and the like PA should have working headlamps for night time....
