Fallout3's Problems

The big problems are PERSPECTIVE and COMBAT. (We all knew that when Bethesda announced that they were going to use the Oblivion engine in FO3) The God view or isometric view of the Fallout world is something that we were quite happy with, I mean who didn’t like to see the world the way Zeus, Thor ...

I think that the opportunity to kill brats in fallout 3 is just about the least important thing in the game. What I would like to see is the opportunity to get away with an assassination. It made me sick in fallout1 when you killed some townie and were suddenly attacked by every irradiated sand bum ...

"After 1938 it was MANDATORY that you joined the Hitlerjugend. Mandatory, as in non-voluntary. Prior to that it was *expected* that all German boys attended, as not doing so was a good way to get the Gestapo up your family's arse!" I think that requirement went right along with Hitlerââ‚...

"I found that the previous movies all had many parts that were either unintentionally or intentially funny. I rather enjoy the humor in the movies. In fact, Dawn of the Dead was in part a social satire and was created because Romero wanted to kill yuppies." Agreed, Romero stated in the com...

Mr. Mouflon wrote: "This is romero we're talking about here, remember... I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that that godawful trailer was the result of cunning marketing types trying to snag a wider demographic." I agree George Romero is the king of the genre, and I have fait...

I wonder how much that asshole herve would want for a phoenix engine licens, the source code for FOT, the sprite editor, and the tile art? sounds like he would make good deal for a fraction of what its worth i think they are down to about 4 or 5 people. Ill bet a half a dozed good programmers and an...

In spray

Just enter the actual size of the image in the bounding box info area in pixcells.

Don't forget to allign the big and small GUI images.

The image should look just like the one in your graphics editor minus the background.

that should clear up the size problem.

Here is an Idea based on my experience as an archer and an arabalist. When you miss you almost never recover a bolt or arrow. When you get a solid hit that happens to kiss some bone the bolt or arrow is ruined. Only When its a penetraing deep meat shot is bolt or arrow is intact. That is with the li...

Thats probably why Dawn2004 sucked so heartily because it wasnt made in Pittsburgh and Romero didnt direct it. LOTD isnt an independant film like the rest of the series its got ties to universal and they made Romero make it in Canada because of the exchange rate.

Oh, BTW, I'd also like to point out that training at the NTC is set up to be harder than actual engagements. You show me an army from some banana republic that fights like the OPFOR does and I'll suck your dick and ask for seconds. Gakkkk!! I don't want you to suck my dick....And I have been there ...

Requiem that Map fucking ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahem....onward! The tile work is not much more than a blank canvas to tell a story with. It's really the entities, speeches, triggers and other assorted scripting which will bring a map to life. I agree and disagree (wow how decisive) You cou...

I couldn't agree more bro. it so much damn fun to lay down a zone set up a players index, way points, conditions and actions etc, plant the enemy in likely locations and then load it up and test it. Its a kick to see a map that you have made come alive. Its especially nice when it functions correctl...

thanks for the kudo bro.

I only wish I had the tenacity for triggering that I do for slapping tiles together. By the time i am done with a map I am so sick of looking at it that i have to tuck it away for awhile before I complete it and hope that I dont forget the scenario I imagined.
