Re: Fallout d20
D20? Why the hell won't they make a SPECIAL game? Yeah, that's the bothersome point of it all. However, I'm not sure what the status of GURPS is, which would probably lend itself to a seamless x-ition from the CRPGs to the table-top quite a bit better than going with the d20 System. Of course, the ...

I will throw this grenade/fire this rifle/plant this claymore...oh, but I must ...The voices in the book told me. No, not like that. It's more like, X type of exercise "should contain at least one NBC task", which means your ass will be sweating in your chemical suit. Using the "Add ...

Re: Playing own team? Or rather changing portaits!
I will kill Stitch and Farsight just in case the XP is shared. XP is not shared in the game. I've done that experiment and found that no matter how many people you have (or don't have) in your squad you are still awarded the same number of XP. ...[H]ow do I change portaits? Occam's Razor would suggest that a magic man in the sky is responsible for everything. No. The principle that an entity's causes much not be multiplied beyond necessity means you use the simplest explanation, not the most simplistic . In other words, your model has to account for all of the evidenc...

The only way I was able to put the editor down was by going cold-turkey when I joined the Army. Not having access to a computer coupled with being locked away in a gulag for weeks on end did the trick. When I get back to Schweinfurt I'll have both a computer and FoT at my fingertips...don't know how...

If I was in charge I'd make it so the helmet rims and belt buckles and toothbrushes, etc. all had a bottle-opener application. Why? Soldiers' ingenuity will amaze you. I've learned so many ways to open bottle in the Army it isn't funny. Of course, the introduction of multi-tool like the Gerber and ...

I'm guessin' the Galil that ASG mentioned might be what you're thinking of, but let me reiterate: I'm not saying the Beretta comes with a bottle-opener, I'm saying that we use them as such. It's also very bad for the pistol.Redeye wrote:Isn't there some Israeli gun that comes with a bottle opener?

I've seen some guy wear a left-arm low-ride leather holster under his denim shirt... Back when my father first moved to Arizona it was still fairly common to see people walking around town taking full advantage of the open carry laws that are still in effect today. You would walk into a diner and t...

Personally, I only use a Beretta at work. I'm pretty sure it's Gulf War vintage, too. Something tells me that there will never be 50 year old M9 Pistols kicking around like there were M1911s. They don't hold up as well when used as bottle openers, either... (Lock the slide to the rear and I'm sure y...

JJ86 did some Wasteland inspired work a while back. He was going to do a mini-campaign based on it, but I'm pretty sure that the project was shelved. So the horizon's wide open on that one. Of course, it would be nice if someone updated the graphics on the world map...EGA graphics always were someth...

Just think, the vast majority of posters here would have never heard of her had it not been for 4too bringing her up way back when... Muzzle vel too slow. :( Yeah, I know. Might be funny to bounce projectiles off of unruly privates, though. Maybe I could put it to use next time I'm Charge of Quarters? It would add an interesting twist to the Airsoft wars that go on in our barracks intermittently... I got the chromed out stainless...

Re: Anybody know where the bus is? And other questions
...I've seen it ( I think)...They were going to use it in the game except it was too long and the animation was wonked... I don't want to use it as a drivable vehicle...just a little decoration. IIRC the sprite isn't even in the game, although there are a couple of vestigial reference to it. Sectio...
