Yeah I found Rome to be the strongest as well. Empire wasn't half bad either. I've played all of them besides Shogun: The Next Generation. Didn't really like the demo so I never bothered.

Fuck it, I'll bend over for Obsidian, they're the only ones who make half-way decent games these days. I came to this conclusion after playing Alpha Protocol not NV btw. They do need to start designing their own engines.
